Gorgeous Limoges cache pot/vase on four gilded feet with gilded loop handles. Handpainted roses on both sides set against a beautifully shaded background. Measures 8 1/2" tall & 6 3/4" wide. Limoges Guerin mark Ca.1900-1932. There is a factory mold flaw on the inside, where there is a slightly raised diagnal line or bump. This can be felt when you run your hand along the inside, but hard to see unless looking very close. When you do see it, it looks more like a wave in the porcelain. Other than this hard to see mold flaw, the piece is in excellent condition. |
