Fans of PICKARD will love this Limoges complete dessert set. Very stylized handpainting in the manner of Pickard. Complete with Coffee Pot, sugar, creamer, four cups and saucers as well as four dessert plates! The coffee pot is marked Haviland France & is 9" tall, sugar is marked T&V & is 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall, and creamer marked JPL with a Pat. date of 1908 & is 5" wide & 2 1/2" tall. The 4 cups are all marked Bavaria & are 2" tall with a 3 3/4" diam. All 4 saucers are marked Bavaria & are 5 3/4" in diam. And the 4 plates are also marked Bavaria & are 7 3/4" in diam. Anyone with knowledge on fine handpainted antique porcelain would know that this is common to have a mixture of markings. Many times an artist would gather individual pieces to paint & create their own set. This dramatic set is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks hairlines or repairs. Must have been kept behind locked doors.
