Fabulous water pitcher with handpainted orchids against a dramatic black background. 8" tall and marked on German mold, Brauer mark 3. Ca.1905-1910. Brauer worked as a Pickard artist as early as 1902. He decorated the pieces in his home, and then Pickard took the decorated pieces and fired them. Brauer began his own studio.
