Magnificent fine quality handpainted French Porcelain Plaque: L'Hiver apres F. Aubert. Depicts a chilly snow scene with a beautiful lady and nude cherub warming their hands over a small blazing fire. Look at the beautiful raised gold work on the gown and also the band around the cherubs head! The porcelain itself measures 7 1/2" X 5 1/8" and is in MINT condition. This gorgeous plaque is in it's original old frame which has had several restorations (the frame only). This is a phenomenal old piece from around 1880.
