Limoges Jardiniere with handpainted yellow roses against a rich cranberry, peach, pale blue and mint green background. These roses, on both sides, are exceptionally well painted by talented artist, Hammer, and dated 1898. The factory mark is Elite, for Bawo and Dotter, circa 1900. The pedestal has the same peach and cranberry tones. The factory mark is JPL for Jean Pouyat. Some wear to the gilding in the raised areas, but overall the condition is excellent. Stands 11 3/4" om pedestal.
